THE FIRST EDITION OF 'A TASTE OF MILLICAN' COOKBOOKS HAVE SOLD OUT, CONTACT LADIES CLUB IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE POTENTIAL OF A SECOND EDITION.
Special Features: Because it has been said that in order to acquire the first Millican Ladies Club cookbook, you must inherit one, we have taken recipes from that book and included it in this one; i.e. the past contributors. A cross after the recipe signifies that person is deceased. Several current members i.e. the present. Recipes have also been given by the children and grandchildren of members of the community, i.e. the future.
Description: This book is dedicated to the past, present and future recipe contributors. Some of the recipes are treasured family keepsakes that are dedicated in memory of their loved ones and others are new recipes that are enjoyed by their families...all reflecting the love of good cooking.
Funds raised support: Sales of this cookbook will be used to contribute to the remodel of the Millican Community Center kitchen, thus providing an enjoyable environment and preserving a bit of history. Our community center was formally a school house built in 1924.
